About Lam Generation
Lam Generation is a hotel development and ownership company operated by Jeffrey Lam. It was founded in 2006 as a second-generation company based in New York.
Lam Generation received the Deal of the Year award in 2007 by Hilton Hotels Corporation for its Hampton Inn SoHo. This award recognizes the tremendous commitment of time and effort many owners devote to building a particular brand’s hotel.
Lam Generation works with Marshall Management, a leading mid-size hotel management company, to accelerate their planned development in New York City.

Jeffrey Lam, President and CEO
Jeffrey Lam leads the company with his expertise in development properties. Before founding Lam Generation, LLC, Lam worked with Helmsley-Spear, Inc. specializing in the Manhattan market as a broker, developer, consultant, and principal. He also spent several years directly involved in the hospitality industry as a team member managing and restructuring new hotel startups, including a Holiday Inn in Philadelphia and a Best Western in Manhattan. Lam is a second-generation developer in the Lam Family. Currently, he is responsible for developing over 400,000 square feet of New York City real estate.
In 2007, Lam was elected by the International Leadership Foundation as 1 of 3 delegates on the U.S. Political and Business Delegation to promote leadership development and international relations in Asia. He holds a real estate sales license in New York. Lam is a member of the Real Estate Board of New York (REBNY) and the Professional Real Estate Forum, as well as a board member for Big Apple Greeter.
Lam graduated from Pennsylvania State University, State College with a B.S. in Finance. He is fluent in both English and Chinese (Cantonese).
Raymond Lam, COO
Raymond Lam serves as COO of Lam Generation. He guides the company’'s overall performance and corporate strategy. Lam is involved in property development with an emphasis on construction budgeting, particularly in the hotel pre-opening phase. He specializes in the Manhattan real estate and hotel market.
Lam cultivated his operational expertise working in the Philadelphia and New York City hospitality markets. His seasoned approach and proven ability to creating efficiency in hotel operations allows him to transfer his knowledge and expertise to the development side. Lam’'s focus on profitability is rooted in achieving a solid balance between guest service, human resource management, sales and marketing and organizational structure.
Lam graduated from The Ohio State University with a B.S. in Finance and International Business. He is fluent in both English and Chinese (Cantonese).
